As often the story begins in a garage, Mr. René Choquet decides to embark on the adventure of the company in 1958. The sectors of activity are general mechanics, then oil. In May 1968 the company set up in industrial zone and became Choquet SA in 1970. The oil is gradually abandoned and replaced by gas and nuclear power. The middle of the 70s is also the arrival of the first 2 vertical towers Bullards 24 '' they are quickly overloaded and other vertical towers will return. There are no numerical controls but a copying system is going to be developed in the company, for the machining of welding chamfers evolving with the shapes or the angles of positioning on the tanks or the tanks and allowing the use of welding robots. In 1983 the company takes a new direction aeronautics, it becomes subcontractor of SNECMA, in the 90s the nuclear slowing a new sector is attacked, the bearings of orientation for the equipment of public works, the first numerical orders are put into service. In 1993 his son Tony took over the company, from 2000 the company also developed in the wind.
To follow all these evolutions a lot of machines will come out and others to return, in 2018 the machines park counts 34 vertical towers of which 17 with Numerical Control.
In the 90s the nuclear slow down, the aeronautics remains the main activity, a new field is attacked, the bearings of orientation for the equipment of public works. The beginning of this decade the arrival of the first Digital Control from 1996 the company decides to retrofit the Digital Controls in-house and develop a know-how in this field
